Cutest Systems Ltd is a clinical Contract Research Organisation (CRO) focusing on products which interact with the skin. Cutest was established in 1984 as a spin off from the University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff by Professor Ronnie Marks the then Head of the Department of Dermatology, Dr Peter Dykes Clinical Scientist and Mr Tony Pearse, Senior Research Fellow. The founding directors have extensive experience in clinical dermatology and skin research which forms the basis of the company approach to dermatological product testing. The Cutest board is further strengthened by two non-executive directors, Dr Jack Ferguson and Dr James Murray, who have extensive experience in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry respectively. Cutest specializes in designing and executing superior dermatological and ophthalmological testing for cosmetics, toiletries, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and food supplements. Projects are tailored to meet each client’s particular skin care project requirements, whether that is to differentiate their product in the market place with a specific dermatological claim, or to extend their business activities by meeting regulatory and market requirements.
