Cutest — Who are we?

Cutest (Cutest Systems Limited) is an independent testing laboratory established by Professor Ronnie Marks, Dr Peter Dykes and Mr Tony Pearse in 1984. The founding directors have extensive experience in clinical dermatology and skin research and this forms the basis of the company approach to product testing. The Cutest board has been further strengthened by the appointment of two non-executive directors, Dr Jack Ferguson and Dr James Murray, who have extensive experience of the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry respectively.

Cutest specialises in testing the safety and efficacy of cosmetics, toiletries, OTC skin preparations and dermatological products using human volunteer subjects. Expert trial design, test reports and statistical analysis are available in house and can support claim substantiation or product registration to satisfy regulatory and control bodies.

Cutest's experienced state registered nurses conduct all studies to the standards of Good Clinical Practice (GCP). An independent ethics committee reviews all protocols prior to commencement of trials.

Cutest has modern skin testing equipment for measuring skin structure and function and assessing product performance.
